All our CCTV Inspections, follow the guidelines outlined in the New Zealand Gravity Pipe Inspection Manual – Version 3 or 4, depending on the specific requirements of the local council. Coupled with state-of-the-art Wincan XV Advanced reporting software Davies can report on the pipeline’s condition in real-time.


Once inspection is completed the captured data undergoes a quality review by our management team before being shared with our clients. We’ll provide you with the means of access to the data, even via flash drive if urgent.

Davies specialises in drainage pipe rehabilitation to restore damaged pipes to optimal condition. Our services include:

  • Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) patching and short-length replacement
  • Lateral Junction Repairs (LJR) using advanced technologies
  • Precision drain cleaning through high-pressure water jetting

Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) patching and short-length replacement

We offer CIPP patching and short-length replacement services to address damaged sections of drainage pipes. Our innovative techniques ensure efficient repairs with minimal disruption, without the necessity of digging up long tracts of roading, pavements, and parks to access pipes for repairs.

What we can do:

  • Inversion liners, up to DN500mm diameter and up to 150m pipe section length.
  • Winch in Place covers all diameters and lengths of pipe.
  • Patch repairs are used for smaller pipe repairs, such as cracks or where a small portion of the wall has been damaged. Excellent for assisting with pipeline longevity.

Lateral Junction Repairs (LJR)

Using advanced technologies, we provide lateral junction repairs to address cracks and leaks in pipe junctions. Our LJR services ensure long-lasting solutions for improved drainage performance.

To undertake a LJR, we:

  • Use Top Hat technology to rehabilitate the joint with durability and longevity.
  • Davies uses seamless glass fibre laminate for LJR repairs.
  • The diameter we can undertake is an LJR of 150mm to 600mm.

Drain Clearing

Sounds simple – Drain Cleaning – some of the drains Davies clean are main stormwater and wastewater pipes, we can remove partial blockages, restoring flow to the pipeline. Davies can remove tree roots from drains, prior to lining the pipe or simply patching the incursion area.
